Counting Shapes

Students use their spatial skills to count the number of shapes contained within a larger shape.

Procedure

Individual, pair or group work
Each student or group receives a task sheet, and students count the number of geometric shapes contained in the diagram in Japanese.

1. しかく(せいほうけい)は、いくつありますか。

2. さんかくは、いくつありますか。

3. しかく(ちょうほうけい)は、いくつありますか。
