Translated Publications Grant

IMPORTANT: Applications for the 2022-2023 grant round MUST use the 2022-2023 forms.
This grant provides assistance to publishing companies seeking to publish translations of Japanese-language books with content related to Japan. For new fiction titles recommended for translation, see Worth Sharing.
Under this grant, you can either apply for translation only, publication only or translation and publication support. For translation support, priority is given to translations of texts included in the List of Recommended Works specified by the Foundation. For publication only projects, the program refers to the publication of newly written works.
