(Furoshiki Workshops are offered 9:00am to 3:00pm during school term. Workshops can be between 30 to 60 minutes in length.)

Online Furoshiki Workshop Information

* Furoshiki class sets are available for loan from your local Japanese language teachers’ association or The Japan Foundation, Sydney.
* Your online meeting invitation link will be sent to you when the workshop date and time are confirmed.
You can join the meeting (workshop) 15 minutes prior to the starting time for set-up and questions.
* Assistants/helping hands for the workshop are strongly recommended. Please also tell your students to help and assist each other whenever it is needed.
* Please make sure that at least one teacher remains beside the computer, to communicate students’ answers to me when their participation is called upon.
* Please tell your students to bring in items for wrapping (to be confirmed before the workshop).

1. Recording or distribution of all part of the workshop I agree that I will not record any part of the workshop nor share/distribute any part of the workshop on the internet. The Japan Foundation, Sydney is not responsible for any violations of this policy.
2. Preparation of materials required for the workshop Preparation of items to be wrapped during the online workshop (such as A4 size notebooks, lunch box and/or water bottles) is the responsibility of the participating schools.
3. Cancellations The Japan Foundation, Sydney may cancel the online workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible to make further arrangements. The Japan Foundation, Sydney will not be held responsible for any costs incurred by your school due to any changes.
4. Photo permission From time to time The Japan Foundation, Sydney may seek to take images to be used for future promotion on the Japan Foundation, Sydney website, newsletter, and flyers. If we seek to take images during the workshop, we will contact you separately for permission.
