Renowned Sydney bonsai master Megumi Bennett

Take a lunchtime break to watch Sydney bonsai expert Megumi Bennett explain and demonstrate the art of bonsai. Her particular skill is to bring bonsai techniques to native Australian trees.

BIO


Megumi has lived in Sydney since 1974. She studied horticulture at the Ryde School of Horticulture, where she has also taught bonsai, and she is a qualified bonsai instructor and member of the Nippon Bonsai Association In 1999 she founded the Bonsai Society of Sydney Inc. She has appeared on ABC's "Gardening Australia" and in other media, and has held a number of exhibitions.

With her husband and son, the latter also a bonsai teacher, she runs a nursery specializing in bonsai in Sydney's north.


How to sign up

Sign up as usual using the online form . Your registration will be confirmed and the day before the event a Zoom link will be sent out to registered participants.

The event is suitable for all ages and it is free to attend.
