Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, Tetsuya’s is one of Sydney’s premier restaurants and has been at the top of the Japanese cuisine totem for decades. Tetsuya’s serves a degustation menu. The degustation is unique, based on the Japanese philosophy of using natural seasonal flavours, enhanced by classic French technique and utilising the freshest possible ingredients. 

Once you have finished your gastronomical journey at Tetsuya’s, head back to the Ryokan and settle in for the night. You will have the opportunity to experience a traditional Japanese breakfast before you check out and head home.

Located in the Adelaide Hills, Sticky Rice Cooking School is a cooking school like no other. you won’t just learn the recipe set, you’ll make them and learn a whole lot more along the way. You may find out why some dishes only get prepared by the head of the household for example. Or which dishes are served for special and royal occasions and why they are significant. 

The product on offer at Sticky Rice Cooking School is that of a well organised class, with excellent tuition from experienced chefs. Hands-on classes of up to 18 people, cook up a storm in the inspiring and aesthetically pleasing 1940’s building in Stirling. Omakase course

Enjoy a Omakase course, loosely translated to “the chefs selection” at Gold Class Daruma. You will experience an authentic and traditional experience, with expert chefs utilising fresh seasonal vegetables, finest seafood and meat. You will also have the opportunity to sample different kinds of sake as either an accompaniment to your meal, or perhaps as a drink before your meal.

Kaiseki Cooking Class

Kaiseki cuisine is a traditional Japanese meal, usually consisting of around nine courses served in a prescribed order. The modern day kaiseki is a rather sumptuous affair, but paradoxically, its origin is a minimalist, strictly vegetarian meal, almost humble in spirit. It was traditionally served in Zen temples to accompany the tea ceremony. This Japanese Kaiseki Cooking Class will take you on a journey through the history and technique of the classic Kaiseki meal.

Japanese Cooking Masterclass

Experience an in-depth cooking class that will take you on a journey through the intricacies of Japanese cuisine, starting with the fundamentals of ingredients and flavours and finishing with a delicious meal, cooked by you. As the seasons change, the menu will too, though you could be whipping up anything from ramen to okonomiyaki and you will learn how to tailor this to your taste buds. As you cook, you will also learn plenty of tips and tricks from expert chefs!

Invigorate Package 

The Japanese onsen is a staple good for Japanese who are looking to relax and unwind.
